Current Status: Wedding to be held at Crowne Plaza

As hurricane Irene is predicted to come ashore along the South East coast and dump a lot of rain in the Virginia Beach area this weekend, we have made contingency plans for our wedding.  If at all possible, we will hold it at Buffs Garden, but if it is pouring down rain it will be moved to the Crowne Plaza.  Check back on this page for the most up-to-date information.

We are at Virginia Beach now. Met with the Crowne Plaza General Manager today who ensures that we will proceed as planned. It is recommended that we end earlier due to weather (This most likely will occur). Looking at the forcast as of right now we will probably be using the Crowne Plaza for the wedding and not Buffs Garden. A final decision will be made tomorrow morning around 6AM.

We are NOT having the wedding a Buffs Garden! We will be starting at 10:30AM as planned at the Crowne Plaza. It will be the ceremony without the judge (he cannot make it until noon). Once he arrives it will be legal and we can celebrate for real.
